For the best Report and Assignment in
CF968 / BE653 Industry Expert Lectures in Finance

Tim Clarke, General Manager of ShareScope, gave an Expert Lecture on "How investors evaluate company performance". As part of the requirement of this module, you may choose to do a summary and an assighment for this lecture.

The Prizes:

Tim has agreed to donate two prizes to support students in this module. Prizes will be awarded to:

  1. The best report that summarises Tim Clarke's lecture (maximum 500 words); and
  2. The best submission to Tim Clarke's assignment (maximum 3,000 words)
Each prize carries a one year subscription to Sharescope Gold from the sponsor, worth £195.

Eligibility and how to enter:

All CCFEA students on the CF968 / BE653 module are qualified to enter. Submit your report and assignment as you normally would in CF968 / BE653. If your submission is based on Tim Clarke's lecture, it will automatically be entered to the competition.

Assessment:

Submissions will be short-listed by Nick Constantinou (CF968/BE653 supervisor) and Edward Tsang (CCFEA Director and CF968 marker). Short-listed submissions will be forwarded to Tim Clarke, speaker of the expert lecture, who will make the final decision.

Past Winners:

The Winner for both the Best Report and Best Assignment in 2011-12 was Han Ao (pronounced like "Owl"). ShareScope has kindly upgraded the prize to one year's subscription of ShareScope Plus, worth £390.
