"I am currently investigating possible solutions to a recently developed simple supply chain model. Within this model middlemen agents must attempt to provide a set of customers with agreeable packages of products, the components of which are obtained from a set of suppliers. In the simplest model, the middlemen agents must prioritise and handle negotiations with both sets without knowledge of their internal constraints or external market pressures, and limits imposed on the amount of time and message passing capability available to reach a solution. The current focus of work is on developing a framework for the middlemen that allows them to evolve generally good solutions in competition; adapting and fine-tuning strategies over successive scenarios."
